That clears the first hurdle to qualify Kia’s electric three-row utility for the $7,500 federal purchase incentive (details on battery minerals and assembly are yet to be revealed). The EX30s we drove were quiet under any circumstance we encountered, with no audible motor or electronics whine and very little wind noise.
