Volvo S40 takes Green Car of the Year title

The race to be named green car of the year 2009 is over and the winner is… the Volvo S40. Green Awards, which are held in association with Michelin and Warranty Direct. The British-built MINI Cooper S for example, earned the title ‘greenest sports car’ while the BMW 318d was the best green executive car.
