Hwy 65 parallels somewhat in-land the Mississippi and goes over the flat, broad and green of first Louisiana into the flat, broad and green of Arkansas. The tally was for 475 miles, which gave roughly a 62.2MPG figure, which included opportunity charges. Traffic was light, but mainly slight some 200 miles! It was leisure travel!
