Used Priuses, especially the Generation 2 that were made from 2004 to 2009 are becoming a bargain to buy, especially for the MPG and features you get in return. It was time to buy our first car. I was nervous as this was the first time that I was buying a car, so the experience was new to me. Awesome, relaxing car to drive.

The Ford Maverick is more truck-like, while the Hyundai Santa Cruz is more car-like. The EPA rated the Santa Cruz’ fuel economy at 19 mpg city/27 highway/22 combined. We did a bit better on a 120-mile freeway run with the adaptive cruise control set at 65 mph, achieving 28.1 A little crossover, a little truck. Hitting the Road.

After the uncertainty of the pandemic slowed things for nearly a year, new car introductions in the past year have picked up at a rapid pace. second 0-60 mph time. The EPA has rated fuel economy at 23 mpg city/30 highway/26 combined. Our best all-highway number, on a 135-mile run with the cruise control set to 65 mph, was 32.1

As an automotive journalist I do this frequently with the cars I am reviewing as I like to hear real world experiences from people who have put on thousands of miles under different driving and road conditions. The EPA has rated the 2024 Maverick Hybrid fuel economy at 42 mpg city/33 highway and 37 combined.
