California regulators later suspended the company’s state license. Waymo, formerly Google’s self-driving car division, is testing more than 200 self-driving cars in the Phoenix suburbs and in San Francisco, as well as nearly 50 in Los Angeles and in Austin, Texas. Cruise has resumed limited testing in Phoenix.

Out in the desert as part of Burning Man , our encampment, Snow Koan Solar, is setting up a solar photovoltaic EV Charging Station (at 7:30 and Desert) for electric scooters, golf carts, sofas and barstools. The electric sofas and scooters were so much cooler - and quieter - than the gasoline powered stinkers that predominate.
