Can these things add up to make a car that people want to buy? For now, the Circuit has all sorts of EV appeal, but itll be up to groups that Chrysler cant control - the Presidential auto task force, the higher-end customer market, etc. - It seems like it still may be cheaper to just buy a well used Lotus Elise and modify it yourself.

The biggest problem with recharging at home - as already alluded to in the article, is that electric cars are mostly marketed as city vehicles. Motor Trend Magazine has extensive coverage of all cars online including road tests, free videos, buying guides, etc. I would prefer to recharge at home, and could do so.
