Fats and greases and inedible oils are opportunity feedstocks, but the US supply of fats and greases is probably on the order of less than 10 million barrels, closer to 1-2 million barrels on an annual basis. I don’t think the military should be owners of refineries—why make it when you can buy it. That’s a big sum.
