US DOE Awards $300 Million in Clean Cities Grants to Support Alternative Fuels, Vehicles, and Infrastructure Development

Like the Recovery Act-funded projects, the annual Clean Cities projects include grants for vehicles, infrastructure, and education. Louis, San Antonio/Austin, and Oklahoma City as well as a refueling corridor along I-10 in Louisiana (New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lake Charles). Total DOE award: $9,408,389.

3 of Oklahoma’s first NEVI EV charging stations will be Tesla Superchargers

Oklahoma approved more than $8 million in federal funds for Tesla and two other companies to build DC fast chargers along its interstates. The three companies will provide a combined $7 million in private funding match to build 13 combined DC fast charging stations.
