Her team created a suite of low-cost medical devices, the NEST360 newborn tool kit, to improve neonatal health in sub-Saharan Africa. Health care workers are using the HRME to screen patients for cervical, oral, and esophageal cancer in clinics around the world, including in Botswana, Brazil, and El Salvador.
