Bolivia and ACISA found joint venture to extract and industrialize lithium from residual brine; €300M investment

As part of this joint venture, lithium hydroxide is to be extracted from residual brine from existing evaporation basins, which were constructed for the production of potassium chloride and lithium carbonate. There is a plan to establish a further joint venture to manufacture cathode material and battery systems in Bolivia and Germany.

Such cities would become self-contained units, their buildings gleaning energy from the powerful weather systems sweeping across their roofs and feeding it down to homes below and vehicles in the streets. Electric cars in the garages would double as battery packs for when energy supplies are scarce. Bolivia is no friend of the USA.
