In 268 miles driving through Southern California, aided by the idle stop/start, we averaged 23.8 Where we did much better was on a 110-mile freeway run, in either Eco or Smart mode and with the smart cruise control set at 65 mph, achieving 31.5

The EPA estimates fuel economy to be 13 mpg city/20 highway/16 combined running on 91 octane. One of the most annoying thing about cars that pretend to be a sports sedan, but really aren’t, is their faux or overpowering exhaust note. The base Ghibli engine is a Ferrari-based 3.0-liter Sometimes you just have to have fun!
