That clears the first hurdle to qualify Kia’s electric three-row utility for the $7,500 federal purchase incentive (details on battery minerals and assembly are yet to be revealed). Audi, BMW, Genesis, Lexus and Mercedes-Benz only offer electric SUVs in larger and much pricier segments. The EX30 will be a big part of that.
