The vision is fuelled by the fear of climate change and the need to find green alternatives to dirty coal, unpopular nuclear power and unreliable gas imports from Russia. and tap clean, renewable energy sources. I’ll bet I can get that done long before we have a smart grid, or clean coal, or more nukes.
