What the Corsair PHEV does, or should do, is open the brand to a new audience who will consider buying a Lincoln for the first time. There is a sixth mode of Preserve, which saves the battery charge for later use. On a 68-mile run, setting the adaptive cruise control at 65 mph and after fully charging the battery, we averaged 58 mpg.
