Two electric central motors on the second and third axles give the bus the power it needs for city traffic. In contrast to electric motors positioned close to the wheel hubs, these models are easier to access and have a simpler design. The energy for this comes from the modular batteries with 640 kWh of installed capacity.

This was originally just a human powered vehicle made in Belgium, but the owner added an electric motor to power the rear third wheel to get up the hills in Portland (of which there aren't many in Belgium). They run on 48 volts and the company sells them as a kit for about $3500.

Locked in for a full reveal on February 26 at the 2024 Geneva motor show, the first pics preview a cool entry EV that could be on sale in Australia as soon as next year priced from less than $40,000. A smaller, lighter 40kWh battery pack will also be offered on the cheapest models.

Because of Hondas different architecture (the engine runs whenever the motor runs), aftermarket conversion of Hondas are unlikely.
