GM has announced plans for public sales in 2010, and almost every carmaker now says it will sell PHEVs or highway-speed battery electric vehicles (BEVs) sometime after 2010. In late 2008, BYD started selling the first production PHEV in China. Plans Saturn Vue PHEV-10. Aims to get Saturn Vue on road in 2010; no production goal.

They only have that many models because they use the same chassis and drivetrain to build 3 different cars, one branded as a Chevy, the next a Pontiac, then a Saturn, etc. Toyota Prius modders have already been adding larger batteries so the vehicle can run on battery power. Way to go morons. in their short sited vision.
