Around the six Gulf states, together with oil majors Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, electrical vehicles account for simply 0.4% Chery Car Co. The Gulf country was also the second-largest importer of Chinese cars in 2022, behind Mexico, before dropping to fifth place this year as exports to Russia and Europe picked up.
