A new all-electric luxury SUV is set to hit the market next year to compete with Tesla’s best-selling Model Y. Volvo is joining the luxury electric SUV market with its new EX60 launching next year. The new EX60 will rival premium models from Tesla, Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. Deliveries began in March.

Fresh details suggest Volvo is on track to launch an all-new battery-electric replacement for the current S90 that will be named the Volvo ES90 when it hits showrooms in 2025. Thanks to its new platform, the Volvo should maximise passenger space as it gets a huge 3100mm wheelbase – 105mm longer than the bigger BMW i5.
