General Motors (GM) expects the Chevrolet Silverado EV to get the Inflation Reduction Act’s (IRA) full $7,500 tax credit. The legacy automaker recently announced that its customers will benefit from the full $7,500 clean vehicles purchase incentive across its entire EV fleet lineup under a given MSRP cap.

The basic goal of the revised ZEV program should be to help demonstration-stage, low-GHG emitting technologies to commercialization, include fuel cell vehicles (FCVs); battery-electric vehicles (BEVs); and Enhanced AT PZEVs, which currently include plug-in HEVs (PHEV) and hydrogen internal combustion engine (HICE) vehicles, according to ARB staff.

The project will include 27 alternative fuel stations (16 CNG, 7 B20/E85, one B20, three Electric Charging) and deploy 373 alternative fuel and advance technology vehicles (235 CNG, 58 HEV, two LPG, two EV). Clean Fuels Ohio’s Ohio Advanced Transportation Partnership (OATP). Total DOE award: $14,908,648.
