turbocharged 4-cylinder direct-injected gasoline engine with a two-motor, 120 kW hybrid transmission; liquid-cooled 18.4 GM eliminated mechanical oil pumps on the system; the TPIM contains a 2 kW electric oil pump driver. Motor B, the interior permanent magnet (IPM) motor, is produced at the GM Baltimore plant.
