The reduced fuel consumption will extend the effective range of the turbo vehicle. By the end of Phase II, Mainstream plans to demonstrate a production-ready prototype that exceeds DOE targets for fuel economy, operating range, and cost. Project partners include Georgia Institute of Technology and LG Chem Power Inc.
