Like the Recovery Act-funded projects, the annual Clean Cities projects include grants for vehicles, infrastructure, and education. The project will deploy 554 alternative fuel and hybrid electric vehicles and install 153 alternative fueling and electric vehicle charging stations throughout the Chicago region.

Tax credits for installing EV charging stations are available in a variety of forms, and many of them apply toward the cost of equipment and installation. Some type of incentive program is available in 44 states and Washington, D.C. , They include incentives for installing EV charging stations. These are just a few examples.
