Turbocharging and downsizing (TRBDS): increases the available airflow and specific power level, allowing a reduced engine size while maintaining performance. The higher system voltage allows the use of a smaller, more powerful electric motor and reduces the weight of the motor, inverter, and battery wiring harnesses.
