The Wisconsin and Michigan team normalized the highly detailed vehicle assumptions and transport calculations from these studies around the rates of electrified vehicle penetration; travel demand growth; and electricity decarbonization. These 9 combinations became the reference scenarios with defined fuel requirements and GHG emissions.
