The benefit of a higher voltage connector has nothing to do with the speed at which the battery will charge it has to do with the conductor size. I imagine there will be tax incentives to build green generators when were at that stage. The US standard is 120V@60hz the UK standard is 240V@50Hz. However, I dont welcome this news.
