Unfortunately, NEVS likewise collapsed after Chinese parent company Evergrande was revealed to be in copious amounts of debt. The Polestar 5, which will also compete against the Porsche Taycan, is scheduled to go into production in 2024 at a plant in Chongqing, China. But that no longer appears to be the case.
