Energy supplier LichtBlick has installed its first home power plants for residential and commercial customers in Hamburg, Germany. The heat which is generated will be stored and will be available for local space heating and hot water supplies. By the end of the year, LichtBlick plans to install a total of 30 plants in the region.

The German Automobile Industry Association is working together with automotive manufacturers on uniform cell standards, Audi said. In recuperation the vehicle’s energy of motion is converted to electrical energy during deceleration and stored in the drive system battery, so as to be available for subsequent acceleration.
