Denmark did that with Wind Power and now most of their energy comes from wind rather than oil, natural gas, or coal. You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart. The big deal was that the oil industry saw real competition and persuaded GM to abandon the project and crush them all like cans. Never again.
