That way you have a fair basis of comparison, you know, apples to apples and all that jazz. If you build a car as a "kit car" with no real factory, then yes, it will never be an economic success. Denmark did that with Wind Power and now most of their energy comes from wind rather than oil, natural gas, or coal. Never again.
