If you build a car as a "kit car" with no real factory, then yes, it will never be an economic success. Toyota Prius modders have already been adding larger batteries so the vehicle can run on battery power. Haul or tow -- buy a Silverado. The EV1s failure was a failure of Management. Way to go morons. Never again.
