Volt like hybrids are the intermediate future between hydrogen or fast charging electric cars. Toyota Prius modders have already been adding larger batteries so the vehicle can run on battery power. Just hope that we switch over to HHO (Hydrogen-Hydrogen-oxygen) gas before the "Battery thing" gets out-of-control.
