In the prototype of a BMW 2 Series Active Tourer with plug-in hybrid system, the front wheels are driven by a three-cylinder gasoline engine and the rear wheels by an electric motor. BMW has yet to finalize pricing for the production version of the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer with plug-in hybrid drive. Top: full powertrain.
