But after interviewing Ford’s Nancy Gioia at the recent Detroit Auto show, I’m now unsure of both the timescales involved, or how much the power and auto companies are behind it as a fundamental concept. We definitely need an urban charging grid if the electric car is to find a place in town, where it’s needed most.
