Electric Cars and The Volt Can Transform America and the Auto Industry TODAY!!! While, I might personally like a plug-in hybrid that then goes to hybrid, to get the market ready for the technology, an EV range / dual-fuel car can work. The range extended EV provides the consumer with a great start for an electric drive vehicle.

It is aggressively in talks with Portland General Electric Plug-In Charging Stations , ( POR ) and other states including Michigan, and California that are scrambling to offer incentives. My personal criteria for an EV is 80/80 MPH/miles range, but thats because drivers either go 80 or stopped around here.
