It will appear in Europe next year as the Opel Ampera and in Australia as the Holden Volt in 2012. Volt like hybrids are the intermediate future between hydrogen or fast charging electric cars. To get the most mileage, one could not have the radio, the A/C, or the headlights on. The car is expected to cost around $40,000.
