It will appear in Europe next year as the Opel Ampera and in Australia as the Holden Volt in 2012. Its been improving over time, but the power density and cost issues are still steep for what exists thus far. One wonders if the recent headway at MIT in building lithium ion cells using ?virus? Interesting in any case.
