China automaker JAC sends first batch of ethanol-powered cars to Brazil

Chinese carmaker Jianghuai Automobile Co.,Ltd. JAC) shipped 500 ethanol-powered cars to Brazil at the end of December, the first batch resulting from a deal signed in August with Brazilian dealer SHC to export 620,000 units to Brazil over the next ten years. JAC will send 1,500 more units this month, and 2,500 cars in February.
