In fact, the little EV is roughly the size of just two motorcycles parked side by side. But those suckers start at $15k, and the price jumps to $25k when you add doors and a lithium-ion battery upgrade.

Although charging infrastructure is beginning to find its way into cities, it may be awhile until they are available in residential neighborhoods en masse. The biggest problem with recharging at home - as already alluded to in the article, is that electric cars are mostly marketed as city vehicles.
