At the moment, the Caucasus nations dont produce enough renewable electricity to export it, so they would have to build at least three times more capacity. The plant supplies up to 230 megawatts of power to Azerbaijans grid. Bulgaria wants in, as does Armenia. Tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan remain high, however.
