The projects selected projects as part of the MINER program are: University of Texas at Arlington. The carbonation reaction will convert REE-bearing silicate minerals to REE-bearing carbonate minerals. Specifically, the program investigates the potential CO 2 -reactive ores to unlock net-zero or net-negative emission technologies.
