LG opens its first EV charging equipment factory in the U.S.

According to a press release shared by the company on Monday, LG has opened the EV charger plant in Fort Worth, Texas, set to eventually have an annual capacity of over 10,000 units. The news also came alongside a ribbon-cutting event featuring LG executives, Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker, and other local officials.

Commercial real estate developer Hillwood announced that TuSimple, a self-driving technology company with a focus on heavy-duty trucks ( earlier post ), has secured property in AllianceTexas’ Mobility Innovation Zone (MIZ) in north Fort Worth. The building will feature technology service bays, in addition to general office space.
