The FEIS is an environmental and safety analysis of the proposed project, developed to inform the decision, not a decision itself on TransCanada’s permit application to build a 1,700-mile pipeline from the oil sands in Canada to the Gulf Coast. The top four suppliers were Mexico, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, and Nigeria.
