With a fully charged battery, the XC60 Recharge can go 36 miles on pure electricity (speed-limited to about 80 mph) and has a 63 MPGe rating. Very clean.

There is a sixth mode of Preserve, which saves the battery charge for later use. The Environmental Protection Agency rates the Corsair’s fuel economy at 33 mpg highway and combined when running in hybrid mode only. On a 68-mile run, setting the adaptive cruise control at 65 mph and after fully charging the battery, we averaged 58 mpg.
