The start of the new millennium brought with it increased oil prices, which in turn sparked a resurgence of Brazil’s drive toward energy independence, including a revival of its ethanol program. It is possible to use gasoline C made with hydrated ethanol (AEHC) with minimum risk of phase separation due to Brazilian climate conditions.
