Lutz is a man given to hyperbole — called global warming "a crock of shit" — but in this case, hes right. They leased a few (at a loss) to those that could afford it. If you build a car as a "kit car" with no real factory, then yes, it will never be an economic success. Forget the black helicopter conspiracies.
