We would make the following additional points: E-mobility, by definition, depends on affordable and reliable renewable electricity. EV smart charging could save the New Zealand economy close to $3 billion by 2035.

The other challenge was where to charge the EV. has no EV chargers in its five-story indoor parking garage. Even as used EV prices decline, the vast majority are still out of most renters’ budgets.
