It will appear in Europe next year as the Opel Ampera and in Australia as the Holden Volt in 2012. They leased a few (at a loss) to those that could afford it. Volt like hybrids are the intermediate future between hydrogen or fast charging electric cars. We are addicted to the gasoline tax both at the State and Federal level.
