Ridesharing company Lyft—in collaboration with Environmental Defense Fund—has commited to reach 100% electric vehicles on the Lyft platform by 2030. Last year Lyft launched hundreds of EVs onto the Lyft platform through Express Drive in Seattle, Atlanta, and Denver.

The initial three-month pilot program provided e-bikes to 13 low-income essential workers in the Denver area. E-bikes also provide a very affordable entry into the burgeoning electric vehicle marketplace. The e-bike program offers an important solution for affordable, efficient transportation. —Andy Duvall.
