About CalCars Plug-In Hybrids FAQ How to Get a PHEV Where PHEVs are Carmakers Say. Conversions are mostly for the Prius, with a few for the Ford Escape/Mercury Mariner hybrid SUVs. The nonprofit CalCars does conversions to demonstrate new designs and provide a platform for different batteries; we dont sell conversions.
