Honda will begin selling two hybrid models produced in Japan—the Insight and CR-Z—in China before the end of 2012, said Honda Motor Co., In addition, said Ito, Acura will introduce its first hybrid model within the next three years. Last year, Honda sales set a new record of 580,000 units in China.
